Random Awesomeness

May 23, 2012 is the official date of our graduation. 

First, I’d like to thank God for all the blessing He’d given be throughout the 4 years of my college life. It has been a wonderful journey at school, full of excitement, and with lots of people whom I can call true friends. Then of course, I thank my parents who raised me so well, I know they’re so proud of me and they’re so happy of what I’ve achieved. I’ll be graduating with honors, as a cum laude, and I know my whole family is so proud- their smiles are proof. My four years in college is not just like a joke, I’ve been through a lot of struggles and difficulties of course, but it’s the reward in the end that worth the wait, sacrifices, and hardships. I know I did great, and I’m happy and fulfilled with the result.  

Now, I already have a job at one of the finest and biggest IT company in the world, IBM. Thanks to my school, APC, for giving me a big opportunity like being part of the IBM Team Blue Ace and being able to widen my skills. So, you really can’t imagine how grateful and thankful I am. Proud to be BLUE!!

Now, I’m just waiting for our graduation day…. just a week to go then it’s time for the real world! 

Just seen MAMA’s full show replay last night on Studio 23 and it was such an enjoyable and wonderful production. I feel like I wasn’t just watching an awards night but a concert of talented K-pop artist, full of wow performances. So, what does other American music awards can say about that? 

All of the artist who won the awards really do deserves those trophies, especially the 3 major awards won by the 3 biggest group artist of K-pop. 2ne1 for the Song of the Year, SNSD as the Artist of the Year, and Super Junior for the Album of the Year. Since the past few years of MAMA, SME artist didn’t attend the award ceremony even they could have win an award because of some issues between SME and MAMA prod., it was a rule that you must attend to win. But this year is a big celebration, not just for the nominees and winners but for everybody. MAMA was broadcast live in many different channels around Asia. Really a party jamming night of fans with the artist, and the party gets more hotter and wilder with the special performances of Black Eyed Peas, Snoop Dog, and Dr. Dre. How I just wish I was there at Singapore to see it live.

My favorite part of the show is when the big winners were announced. You could really see how much the artist respect each other (unlike some of their fans who always starts fan wars). When someone or a group wins an award, others vowed especially if it’s their seniors or sunbaes. They congratulate each other, like what I’ve seen between Super Junior and SNSD, the bond between these two group who came from the same company are undeniable. When Super Junior won, SNSD proudly congratulates them and vice versa. How I just wish their fans would start to be friends just like what their favorite artist does. We were all brought up with just one love, MUSIC. Spread music, spread love, stop fan wars.

The last part of MAMA is so unforgettable. I was talking about Super Junior winning the last grand award for the night- Album of the Year. They brought up the best speech for the night, it’s so emotional that seeing the members cry brought me into into tears as well. They didn’t forget mentioning the others member whose not with them as of the moment, and didn’t forget to thank the reason why they’re the best artist of today - the ELFs, their loyal fans. This is why I super love this guys, they’re not just artist who work and give thanks back to their fans, they’re men with hearts. Super Junior, the LAST MAN STANDING!
